Who are Galaxy?

About Us

Formed in 2012, Galaxy FC is an FA Charter Standard amateur football club located in Crawley, West Sussex.

Galaxy FC provides inclusive football for boys and girls of all ages / abilities and is represented at senior level by our Men’s team.

With 32 teams and almost 500 players, we’re the biggest Football Club in Sussex, or so Mark the chairman reckons!?!

“To create the best youth football setup in the South East”

Mark Wright Chairman

Galaxy is a true family club, built from the core by friends, volunteers and Jerrah’s mum, our very own cheerleader! Together we are on a journey to create the best youth football setup in the South East of England.

We have maintained our Charter Standard, after great work by Faye Wright to ensure all elements were met.

Our History

Galaxy FC initially started with just three U8 boys! The three players, or rather their parents, bought in seven new players and formed the very first Galaxy side in July 2012.

Our Ethos has always been simple, (we are from Crawley after all!) “Go and express yourselves, never be afraid to try things, and don’t worry if it doesn’t work the first time, try again.”

As our reputation grew, so did the club. By the end of that first season, we had 2 teams and 18 players.

Galaxy Teams

The growth has been phenomenal, today we boast 32 Youth teams.

A Pre-Development Centre that runs two classes weekly for 4yrs to 6yrs.

A Disability team that plays in the Surrey Disability League & Sussex Disability League.

A Girls Development Centre for 12yrs to 15yrs &

2 Men’s teams & a Women’s team.

Thanks @PanutcheCamara, great to see @crawleytown players inspiring young players in the local area! ⚽️💫

Thanks @PanutcheCamara for braving the cold and coming and supporting Bradley and the @Galaxy_F_C u7 to a win today! Brad loved having you there and will be telling all his mates.

Galaxy Ladies are looking to recruit a Goalkeeping Coach to work with our keepers on training evening & match days .. Interested please get in touch for more details @SCWGFL @Galaxy_F_C @SussexCountyFA @SECWFLnews @SentHerForward

Sadly we have lost a member of our galaxy family.
Ex-player Suel Delgado passed away yesterday at just 20.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.
This weekend all Galaxy sides will hold a minutes silence before their games.
RIP Suel 💫⚽️❤️
